Teru Talk by Michael
Theroux (pronounced
"TerĂº")
Teru's Trash Talk
If there
was one place where you
could ask questions about
what's going on with Waste
Conversion and expect to
get a straight answer, what
would you ask? Would you
want to know how to best
deal with your own trash,
or what might be possible
with that mountain the
County calls its
"landfill"? Is this a
personal challenge, a
matter for the
municipality, a State
concern or a national /
international mandate, or
perhaps, all of the above?
Whew: that's a lot of
questions.
Let's
take this from a global
perspective. Imagine for
the moment that we have
immediate access to
information about the World
of Waste Conversion. We
want to know about the
tools, the rules, the
projects, and the
facilities that actually
work as intended. We'll
need to know the kinds of
thrown-away crud those
facilities accept, and know
what they make out of it.
Don't forget about how
those facilities got
financed, and even what
other waste-related efforts
that those investors, uh,
invested in. Whew: that's a
lot of detail.
The flood
of information served up on
the Internet doesn't cover
everyone, everywhere, and
there will always be
corners of our globe more
obscure than the rest. The
amount of detail about
waste conversion that IS
available is astounding,
and the areas not yet
accessible are shrinking
daily. But the Internet
alone is a cold and rather
impersonal stream and we're
talking about Humans
solving Human problems
here. It just makes sense
to add the Human element to
our search.
With that much data, we are
going to need a very solid
underlying structure to
keep it organized and a
clear way to search for the
bits we want - we need a
top-notch searchable
database. We'll need Humans
to mine the Internet, to
operate the Media desk and
reach out for more
information, and to
maintain the database. NOW
we're getting close,
combining Internet with
Media with Big Data
management. Everyone wants
a cleaner world. Renewable
Energy and Green Goods
recovered from waste can
play a key role. Teru Talk
keeps track of global waste
conversion, and wants to
upgrade our system so that
we can serve up the
information quickly,
accurately, and
economically. That, dear
readers, is where Teru Talk
is headed. Welcome
aboard.
SPECIAL Hey Rube!
Teru Talk has been accepted

Video!). For the next couple
months, we each will go
a-begging for Votes, vying
to be among the Top Ten by
this fall. When the big day
comes, look over our
presentation, and then Vote
